About this discipline
This course is mainly aimed at students with an interest in science. Physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology are the basic subjects. We attach great importance to pupils’ total “scientific education”. You learn to think abstractly and systematically and excel in mathematical reasoning and logic.

STUDENT PROFILE
The course Sciences-Mathematics is aimed at pupils with a clear preference for sciences who also have a thorough knowledge of mathematics. Pupils have to be able to solve problems independently, look up data and work in teams. The latter is especially emphasised in the science classes, where pupils carry out experiments in small groups. Pupils should be aware that this is a ‘doorstroomrichting’. After these studies, pupils will go on to higher education. Possible fields of study are: civil engineering, industrial engineering, medicine, computer science, mathematics, physics & astronomy, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, …
