Theme weeks
Since September 2020, the modernisation of secondary education has started. This modernisation includes (among other things) a number of cross-curricular objectives and attainment targets. In order to achieve these, we organise theme weeks at our school. During these weeks, we deviate from the normal class schedule to make room for various projects.
At the start of the school year, there is a thematic week “hybrid school” in which pupils work on digital competences. In April of this school year, there was the theme week Arts & Culture and Welfare. Many interesting projects took place: a graffiti workshop, visits to various philosophical houses, a paper-making workshop, a visit to the MAS and the Middelheim Museum, a workshop on healthy food and much more! In addition, fresh fruit was provided daily during the breaks.
